This Sunday starts the program of the Breton theater for the first half of the year with the film ‘Malmkrog’

LOGROÑO, Jan. 16 (EUROPA PRESS) –

This Sunday, January 16, the Breton Theater’s program for the first half of the year kicks off with the film ‘Malmkrog’, included in the film series in its original version. It will take place at 6:30 p.m.

Directed by Crisi Polu, this co-production, in which Romania, Serbia, Switzerland, Sweden, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Macedonia participate, lasts 200 minutes.

In it Nikolai, a powerful landowner and man of the world, decides to invite his friends from high society to stay at his mansion in Malmkrog, Transylvania, to spend the New Year’s holidays.

Among his guests are a Franco-Russian politician, a Russian general and a countess, who enjoy a serene evening between tasty meals, party games and deep discussions on morality, politics, death or the existence of evil.

As the hours pass, tensions rise and anyone can fall victim to their own speech.

The film cycle is made up of eight films that will be screened in the original version with subtitles, including ‘Who prevents it’, by Jonás Trueba, or ‘Titane’, by Julia Ducornau.

Tickets can be purchased at a price of 5 euros both at the box office or through the website of the Breton Theater www.teatrobreton.org.
