How to do a French Pedicure?
Performing a “French Pedicure” at home is easier than it seems. To do this, start with a foot bath to soften the skin and cuticles. A French Pedicure requires that you have at the beginning healthy nails. This is why it is advisable to use a cuticle pusher to gently remove the cuticles, then file your nails to give them a square shape with rounded edges (but in reality and this is an advantage of this pedicure, it matches all nail shapes, so you can achieve the one you want).
Apply a clear base coat to ensure a good prepare your nails to receive the varnish. Now take your slightly pink nude varnish and apply a first coat on your nails. Once dry and depending on the result you prefer, you can apply a second coat to obtain a more pronounced shade.
We move on to the most delicate step, that of the famous white line characteristic of the French. Use a fine brush and draw a white line on the free edge of each of your nails. If you have two left hands and therefore dexterity isn’t really your thing, don’t panic.
You can use an adhesive strip that will take the shape of your nail, you just have to place it up to the limit where you want your white strip to start and paint over it (it must be admitted that it is still a little more practical).
To finish off beautifully, add a layer of top coat to your nails to maximize the hold of your pedicure.
