Héléna Bailly, emblematic semi-finalist of the Star Academy 2023, continues to seduce the public with her new single Mauvais Garçon, a hard-hitting track which explores all the manipulation of a relationship that she may have experienced.
Revealed during the Star Academy class of 2023, Héléna Bailly quickly established herself as one of the public’s favorites. Her remarkable journey even took her to the semi-final, where she faced Pierre Garnier. And, although her adventure ended at this stage, the 22-year-old Belgian was able to transform this experience into a real springboard for her musical career.
Some time after his release from the adventure, his single Summer Body has become a true anthem for self-acceptance, accompanying thousands of young women under the summer sun. Building on this success, Héléna Bailly then announced her first solo tour. And the road still seems as long as it is beautiful… While the young woman is already tipped to represent Belgium at Eurovision, she once again dominates the listening charts with the release of her latest track Bad Boy. A piece that she describes as a “UFO” in her discography and yet which also tells a very personal story.

In Bad BoyHéléna Bailly directly addresses a harmful relationship with a partner who constantly put her down. And if some fans were able, for some strange reason, to imagine that it could be a nod to Pierre Garnier, fortunately it is not the case! In an interview given to 7 Days TVthe Belgian, who recently returned to the Star Academy castle, confides: “I remember very well the day I wrote it with Vincha. I knew I wanted to talk about this story, which I was able to experience personally when I was quite young. So I opened my phone and I opened my conversation with this famous bad boy and reviewing all the not very nice messages that I had received I said to myself: ‘Actually, I think I want to be angry. […] I think I’m angry that someone put me through that when I was young.’”. An introspective approach which seems to have resonated with his fans since the song has enjoyed great success since its release.
