This Starcraft 2 mod makes it a remake of the first game

Game fans recreated the original game on the engine from the second installment.

During last October we learned that the Blizzard company would stop developing new content for Starcraft 2, 10 years after its original release.

The community of such a legendary game could not take this as an end point for the franchise, so they created Starcraft: Mass Recall, a remake of the first game within this second installment.

A remake of the first Starcraft

It is as you read; the original Starcraft published in 1998 is back thanks to a fan project, who proposed a new version of this strategy classic taking advantage of all the customization options that the sequel offers.

This is not the first improvement that exists for the original game, remember that in 2017 an official remaster developed by Blizzard was put on sale.

In the words of the fans who made this work, “Starcraft: Mass Recall is a project that recreates the gameplay of the classics StarCraft and StarCraft: Brood War, as well as the single-player campaigns, in the StarCraft 2 engine.”

It should be noted that it is a completely unofficial remake, this in the words of the creators, who also assure that “this is non-profit and created by fans without any affiliation with Activision Blizzard.”

At the moment this work of the game community is in full development, although it is already playable and can be downloaded by clicking here.
