This Saturday event for young people in Jardín América

Thursday, September 16, 2021 | 10:45 p.m.

In Jardín América there will be a performance of acrobats, jugglers, music, artisans’ exhibition, and skateboarding so that young people arrive and enjoy a different Saturday afternoon, where a mural will also be painted and there will be varied rhythms from 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. , which in turn has charitable purposes.

The event is organized by Mariana Krewer, Lulú Rojas and Lorena Omiñuka, it will be the third edition of “Jardín en Shock”.

“It is called like this because it will unite contemporary music, with visual art, design, crafts and extreme sports,” commented Omiñuka in dialogue with El Territorio.

The proposal is promoted by a group of local young people and came up with the idea of having an event that gives value to the artists. “We want all these disciplines to be integrated, handicrafts, art in painting, sports and music and that the art and culture that exist in Jardín América can be made visible”.

In addition, the young woman said that there will be bands of different musical genres, DJs, poetry, urban dance and a parade.

Omiñuka even said: “this move involves the theme of caring for the environment reflected in the mural that will be painted live and that in the parades there are alternative garments and accessories made with disused clothing”.

To conclude, the young woman argued that admission is free, those who want to arrive must attend with a non-perishable food that will later be destined for local picnic areas.
