From 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., donors are received non-stop to help maintain essential blood stocks in many cases such as emergency relief, surgery, blood diseases, cancers.
“The voluntary and benevolent act of donating blood is therefore irreplaceable. You are irreplaceable! sums up the French blood establishment.
To donate, you must be between 18 and 70 years old and weigh more than 50 kilos.
Men can donate up to 6 times a year and women up to four times.
Be careful, warns the French blood establishment, “only EFS health staff can confirm that you can give the day of your donation after your medical interview.”
