The Netherlands is one of the countries where LG’s rollable OLED R television can be ordered from Thursday. LG Netherlands announced this today. The 65-inch OLED R-TV has a suggested retail price of 99,999 euros in the Netherlands. The rollaway TV was since October 2020 only for sale in home country South Korea. There it costs about 75,000 euros.
The rollable TV from LG comes in a rectangular box that can be placed on a cupboard or on its own legs. If you are not watching TV, the screen can be rolled into a ‘minimal’ position, which, for example, only shows a clock or information about music. The 100 W 4.2 channel speakers are covered with wool, available in multiple colors, and support Dolby Atmos.
The rollable TV became begin 2018 already unveiled by LG at the CES tech fair, then as a prototype. Early 2019 showed LG released the production version of the rollable Signature Oled R.
