M 5.6 earthquake shook Cianjur it has so far claimed up to 268 people, destroyed thousands of buildings, both residents’ homes and public facilities such as schools. The head of the PVMBG geological agency, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, Hendra Gunawan, said that there were several things that caused thousands of buildings to be damaged by the earthquake.
