German Foreign Minister Analena Burbock criticized Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in an interview with Bild over a photo with Russian and Iranian leaders Vladimir Putin and Ebrahim Raisi.
“Having the Turkish president in this photo is a challenge to NATO, to say the least,” she stressed, adding that it was “simply incomprehensible.”
Commenting on the Bundestag’s accusations of “slow” arms deliveries to Kyiv, the head of the German Foreign Ministry said that Germany “does not aim to mislead its European neighbours”. “We can’t replace tanks with a snap of our fingers,” Burbock added.
