jpnn.com, MALAYSIA – A convict named Nagaenthran alias K Dharmalingam, is planned to serve the death penalty on November 10.

Nagaenthran is a convicted case drugs, Malaysian.

He was arrested 22 April 2009 in Singapore and immediately served the death penalty in that country.

“Has been detained by the Singaporean authorities on April 22, 2009 for smuggling a 42.72 gram diamorphine drug.”

“He was sentenced to death by the Singapore High Court on November 22, 2010,” said Malaysian Foreign Minister Saifuddin Abdullah in a statement in Putrajaya, Thursday (4/11).

The appeal process through the courts has been made to the final stage, namely through the application for Presidential Pardon (Presidential Clemency).

“However, the application was rejected on June 1, 2020,” he said.

Saifuddin said his party also received a letter from the Anti-Death Penalty Asia Network (ADPAN) organization through Maria Chin Abdullah, a member of the Petaling Jaya Parliament.
