Ada mysterious island in Australia named pulau Heard. The location is remote and always covered by thick clouds throughout the year. That’s it, there’s water and great fire there. The view is both beautiful and terrifying.
That’s because there is an active volcano known as Big Ben. As quoted detikINET from ABC, Big Ben’s mountain is the highest in Australia, reaching 2,745 meters.
Around him, there is a very wide glacier. Hot and cold combined into one. The weather was terrible, with strong winds, the speed could penetrate 33 kilometers per hour.
Not only that, Heard Island is among the most remote in the world. It took 7 days to cover the 4,000 kilometers from Perth to the island.
There are no residents in mysterious island that. Only fishermen or researchers who want to go there, ride the stormy waves. Visitors must obtain special permission from the Australian Antarctic Division.

“Being on a remote and wild island you have to be very alert to potential dangers and maybe you can’t be saved if something bad happens,” said Doug Throst of the Australian Antarctic Division who has visited him twice.
Near the island, there is a small island called McDonald’s which is volcanically active. A major eruption occurred in 1996, which doubled the size of the island.
Visits to Heard Island are limited so that the flora and fauna there are preserved and free from possible contamination. The volcano has only been climbed three times.
