With its love story where past, present and future intertwine, We Live in Time (Love in the present in French) promises to be an excellent film to watch. Starring Andrew Garfield and Florence Pugh, this romantic comedy is produced by the prestigious A24 studio, known for being an Oscar magnet. The film is scheduled for January 5 in our region.

This romance directed by John Crowley (Brooklyn) stands out for its decade-long storyline. Marketed as a “love story about the times that change us and the times that make us,” the film should appeal more to romantic drama enthusiasts than rom-com fans, as the film’s synopsis demonstrates:
“Almut (Florence Pugh) and Tobias (Andrew Garfield) cross paths in a surprise encounter that changes their lives. As they embark on a journey challenged by the limits of time, they learn to cherish every moment of the unconventional road their love story has taken in this deeply moving romance.”
The film, judging from its trailer, seems to be a terribly touching and moving work. Unfortunately, It didn’t take more than a promo image broadcast on the web so that tears give way to laughter.
