A second homecoming that does not disappoint

With this smartphone, OnePlus confirms its know-how by offering a design with clean lines presenting a look well known to the brand, with however some notable evolutions. Unlike the first OnePlus Nord of the name, its successor now offers only one selfie lens, which is more discreet to binge watcher your series. It still offers rounded edges, which make it easier to grip, as well as fairly thin borders on the sides – except at the bottom of the smartphone.

The other major change is in the photo module. We are now entitled to a triple photo sensor less tight and better organized compared to the first generation. If the main sensor is convincing, it can sometimes have that pop side, offering bright and saturated colors that may displease some who would like to obtain a faithful representation. The photo is not its strong point, but this smartphone will offer successful and correct shots during the day.

A successful transition to MediaTek

Not an excellent photophone therefore, the OnePlus Nord 2 has the advantage of being efficient on a daily basis. We go from Qualcomm to MediaTek, with a Dimensity 1200 – IA which surprises with its excellent performance. Its configuration has enough to allow it to perform in all areas. Whether you are doing 3D gaming, multitasking or simply want to navigate, the experience is fluid, fast and without slowing down. The configuration of the Nord 2 ensures a fluid and fast experience on a daily basis, in particular thanks to its beautiful 6.43 ″ AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz. We will also greatly appreciate the fluidity of the Oxygen OS interface which remains responsive in any circumstance, and make the most of the installed configuration to provide a good user experience.

Finally, the OnePlus Nord 2 has a 4500 mAh battery, which will allow the smartphone to last a day and a half if your use is moderate. However, the Nord 2 has a shock trump card up its sleeve with its 65 W Warp Charge charger. Once plugged in, it can go from 0 to 100% in less than 40 minutes. No need to have a huge battery when you have such a charging capacity.
