VIVA – Although nutrition problems in Indonesia are getting better. However, there are still problems with malnutrition and problems with overnutrition, thus placing Indonesia in a country with multiple nutritional problems double burden nutritional problems.
Malnutrition at age teenager also still happening. One of them anemia. In fact, malnutrition in adolescence has a short-term impact on the daily life of adolescents in learning and activities, and long-term in their lifetime and future generations.
Director of Public Nutrition, Ministry of Health RI, DR. Dhian P Dipo MA, said that efforts to prevent anemia are closely related to the intake of food consumed every day.
Susenas data for 2015-2019, shows an improvement in the consumption pattern of the population, in which there is an increase in people’s energy and protein intake.
