“Nothing will change except the helmet,” says a mailing Felyx sent to all customers. The transport company’s green shared scooters all have a helmet pouch on the back. From 1 January 2023, you will also be wearing a helmet on 25 km/h scooters.

Felyx will check which scooters are used the most when the helmet obligation comes into effect, says Kas Avedissian of the scooter sharing company. “If we see that there is more demand for 45km/h scooters, we will use them more. It depends on the preferences of our users, as some users enjoy riding a 25km/h scooter on the cycle path.”

Cost

If you want to ride a Felyx scooter, you pay an initial fee of 75 cents. After that you pay 30 cents a minute.
