He McLaren Senna, one of the most extreme street models from the Woking firm, it has long released its circuit variant, el GTR, and we are still waiting for an even more superlative edition to come out and with surname Le Mans. But he still didn’t have a toy version, something to which McLaren has put a solution.
Baptized as McLaren Senna ‘Ride-On’It is the third McLaren for children, and is a perfect miniature and convertible reproduction of the Ultimate Series of the British firm. Beyond aesthetics, many of its components are functional and it even includes a multimedia system.

This whim is not exactly cheap: its price is fixed at 582 dollars, about 488 euros to change. The firm will market it in North America and it can already be reserved at the brand’s dealerships in the US, although it will also be available in toy stores, such as Hypertoys.

Suitable for children between three and six years old, the McLaren Senna toy is electric, hence its name, and boasts elements that we find in the Ultimate Series, such as the dihedral doors to access its tiny cabin. In addition, when turned on by a button located on the console, mimics the roar of the mighty 800hp biturbo V8 of the British hypercar through its speakers.
In the menu we also find a braking system that, when operating the pedal, turns on the taillights, and integrates a small info-training system to which you can plug a USB memory or an SD card, so that little infants can enjoy music in the open air.

For the rest, it has been sculpted imitating the shapes of the Senna, highlighting the transparent door panels, the generous lower lip, similar optics, an oversized spoiler crowning the rear or a small sports seat.
Five are the shades in which the McLaren Senna ‘Ride-On’ can be selected: black, white, as well as colors that are available in the real Senna, such as Vega blue, Memphis red or the characteristic Mira orange. To this is added the yellow with green accents, which wears its special edition, and which pays tribute to the helmet of the legendary Ayrton Senna that gives its name to the extreme supercar.
