Bennett Kaspar-Williams, 37, who lives in Los Angeles, first realized he was a transgender man about ten years ago, in 2011. However, he didn’t begin his transition until three years later.
Six years later, in 2017, she found Malik, her future husband, whom she married in 2019.

The couple decided that they wanted to have children, and considered the options available to them. Therefore, Bennett stopped the testosterone hormone therapy he had been on for several years to allow his ovaries to function.
Bennett, who has had surgery on her upper body but not her genitals, finally decided that she would feel comfortable trying to conceive and carry a child.
She became pregnant naturally soon after they started trying, and the couple welcomed their son Hudson, by caesarean section, in October 2020.
Two years after starting hormone treatment, in the summer of 2015, Bennett underwent surgery to remove her breasts—paying $5,000 for the procedure.
Recalling how surgery was needed to make her realize how displeasing she was to have female breasts, she said: “It was really liberating. I had a feeling that it was something I needed to do, but I never hated myself for my breasts, like some transgender people.”
