This man became a billionaire … in a matter of minutes!

Blaise Aguirre, a man who lives in the United States, was the beneficiary of one hell of a bank mistake. The problem ? It didn’t last very long. To his great regret, we can easily imagine it!

For some, winning the lottery is life changing. Some numbers or a little luck scratching (see even a lot), then allow you to switch to another world, made of luxury and many pleasures.

For some personalities, it is also a kind of culmination. It’s the case footballer Cristiano Ronaldo who recently became a billionaire or the rapper Kanye West who also entered this small very closed circle thanks to his sneakers.

But in other cases, things take an even more special turn. This is what has just lived Blaise Aguirre, a psychiatrist who lives in Massachusetts State, in the USA.

He becomes a billionaire thanks to the bank

The story, told by our colleagues from Bloomberg took place a few days ago. The man has a very big surprise when he opens the mobile application of his bank, named Bank of America. Indeed, his account has just been credited with $ 2.45 billion, or 2.07 billion euros. Of course, his first reaction is to think of a bank error. He imagines that the problem will be quickly resolved and that he will not stay billionaire long time.

However, the minutes pass and his fortune is still there. Worried, the young billionaire therefore decides to contact his bank advisor. This quickly reports the problem internally and his fortune disappears so. According to a spokesperson for the bank, it was a “simple display error”. Even if this record sum appeared in his account, he would never have owned this real fortune. Even if Blaise Aguirre had not been an honest citizen, this fortune would therefore likely have been unusable.

A “crazy wealth”

On his Twitter account, he still echoed this story and his “15 minutes of crazy wealth”. He also regrets not having been able to “share” with his subscribers.

This is far from the first time the Bank of America has had an IT problem. In 2018, in Texas, an ATM of the bank issued 100 dollar bills instead of 10 ! In 2015, a Deutsche Bank client had received $ 6 billion in error. A record to beat.
