The man behind many Metroid games, Mr. Sakamoto, explains why Metroid Dread hasn’t come out sooner.
The time has come
The team behind Metroid Dread explained the long development of the game. It took 15 years to make this game. Good ideas could not be translated well into gameplay at that time. This was partly due to the lagging hardware. Fortunately, the Nintendo Switch has proven to be powerful enough and it has now succeeded. We are of course very curious what will make the game so special.
October 8 we will find out, because then the release is on the Nintendo Switch
