Several celebrities missed this year’s Met Gala, who usually prepare for the event with some kind of special outfit. Rihanna, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift (it was previously known that she was paying her respects again after almost 10 years), Selena Gomez and Blake Lively were not there at yesterday’s event.
As it turned out, Rihanna was forced to stay away due to illness, and it was recently revealed that Blake Lively simply wanted to be with her family that day. According to Elle, the actress spent Monday evening with her four children and her husband.
Many of Lively’s fans were disappointed, some thought that the gala was not even worth organizing.
The actress has flashed more than one amazing evening during the past years: the year before last, for example, she “changed her clothes” on the red carpet, thereby referring to the theme of the time.
