President of the United States (USA), Joe Biden, did not participate welcome dinner o G20 Summit Conference Dinner was held at Lotus Pond, Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK), Bali. It is certain that Biden’s absence was not due to exposure to the Corona virus (COVID-19).
“It’s not COVID,” one official explained CnnTuesday (15/11/2022).
Biden skipped dinner with the leaders of the G20 countries because he had something else to do.
It is known that Biden was tested on Tuesday morning after contact with the Prime Minister (PM) of Cambodia who tested positive for COVID. Test results show Biden is negative for COVID.
“He just spent a full day in meetings and needs to take care of some things tonight (nothing urgent!),” the official said.
Biden is also said to have spoken to President Joko Widodo (Jokowi). She expressed regret for not attending the dinner.

“Not present,” said the director general of information and public communication of the ministry of communication and information technology, Usman Kansong, told the request for confirmation, Tuesday (15/11).
Previously, leaders of countries and world institutions attended the venue one by one. There, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and First Lady Iriana Jokowi welcomed their arrival wearing traditional Balinese dress.
Meanwhile, the guests who attended appeared to be wearing batik clothes. Canadian Prime Minister (PM) Justin Trudeau, for example. He is seen wearing a colorful batik shirt fuchsia.
Also, there’s Chinese President Xi Jinping, wearing a blue batik shirt. Then British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi wore red batik shirts and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov wore blue batik.
Some Indonesian personalities were also present at this evening’s event. The 5th President of the Republic of Indonesia Megawati Soekarnoputri and the 6th President of the Republic of Indonesia Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) were present. Then there were also the 10th and 12th vice presidents Jusuf Kalla (JK).
Also present were the Coordinating Minister for Economy Airlangga Hartarto, the Minister of Finance Sri Mulyani, the Minister of Defense Prabowo Subianto, the Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna Laoly, the Speaker of the Indonesian Parliament Puan Maharani, the Chief of Police National Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
