Tamong the news that Alfa Romeo field, in addition to the already known 33 Street, the most awaited after the Tonale and the restyling of the Giulia and the Stelvio launched these days it is this “small” SUV that should have been called initially Brenner but it seems that the name has been denied by the same Jean-Philippe Learned which, apparently, will present her in September. The date for the sale could already be the end of 2023, provided that the Tonale presentation cycle is completed, for which orders are booming. The small Alfa B-Suv already has its own “matrix” within Stellantis: it’s the platform CMPthe stress that gives life in the form of B-suv alla Peugeot 2008 and to Opel Mokka thermal (which becomes e-CMP when talking about electric models).

Land lines, however, follow the canons of the Biscione, therefore a design (now edited by Alejandro Mesonero-Romanos) much sportier than the respective cousins and much less “edgy” than the relative Jeep Avenger and certainly more engaging for the formal sportiness typical of Alfa. The shared platform obliges, in a certain sense, also to share the drive units, both thermal and electric or hybrid, so let’s not expect delirious powers Quadrifogly.
