Despite all the corona issues, we can still use the Game of Thrones spin-off Game of Thrones: House of the Dragon just expect to be on HBO in the year 2022. This has now been confirmed by the big chief of the well-known pay channel.
Last year HBO became the mother series Game of Thrones and finding the right successor was not an easy job for HBO. Many scripts were written and the intended successor Bloodmoon with Naomi Watts, among others, was referred to the round archive at an early stage.
Game of Thrones: House of the Dragon
Now the series around House Targaryen has to come. Speaking to Deadline, HBO President Casey Bloy has now confirmed that the series will just be released in 2022 and we would soon be told which actors will be starring.

House of the Dragon takes place 300 years before the mother series and the first season has ten episodes. Most seasons of Game of Thrones started in April, except for the first (March) and last season (July).
