This is what WWE television should be right now

WWE is still running shows in front of zero fans at the Performance Center, and the product is suffering because of it. Pro wrestling is meant to be done in front of fans, be it 100 or 10,000, and it’s just a goofy mess of bad acting and choreography without those fans driving the action.

The longer this goes, the more that will become evident, and the harder the industry will be hurt by it. Not that it’s going to go anywhere, mind you, just that, well, the shows mostly suck.

What you see above amounts to a promo for Drew McIntyre building to his WWE championship match against Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 36, and it is an incredible piece of work. Watching it made me wonder why the hell this can’t be what WWE television looks like until this coronavirus pandemic is past us.
