After a bizarre season, it is almost time to look further to 2021. We can look forward to no fewer than 23 races. There is definitely one the GP of Vietnam after a corruption scandal. Despite that, we can enjoy a packed calendar and a Dutch GP next season.
It took a while, but the calendar for 2021 has finally been made official. Formula 1 announced the overview on Tuesday and hopes to complete no fewer than 23 races next year. Formula 1 will not travel to Vietnam in 2021 and is therefore still looking for a replacement country. Despite the loss of the Vietnamese GP, there are still plenty of races to be ridden. For example, the Grand Prix of the Netherlands took place on September 5, 2021 in Zandvoort, after not having been on the calendar for no less than 36 years. The start of the season will be celebrated in Australia as usual.

It is therefore not only that Formula 1 is still looking for a replacement country for Vietnam, but that the Spanish and Brazilian Grand Prix are still dependent on contracts. These races are scheduled in Barcelona and Sao Paulo respectively, but are still subject to change. The Italian Grand Prix will be held at Monza and there will be no other circuit that appeared on the calendar as an emergency this year. The only new location is in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
