This is what streamer from Mönchengladbach says

New fuss about streaming star Anni The Duck: It was only in June that the streamer from Mönchengladbach announced the end of her online career. Anissa Baddour, the 26-year-old’s real name, wanted to withdraw from the public eye and go into therapy after a shitstorm in May. “I hurt people and was far too focused on explaining myself instead of making the necessary and expected apology,” Anni explained at the time on X.

Twitch colleague makes new allegations

Now the tables have turned again and the streamer is back on YouTube. Her surprising statement is a direct reaction to a video by Twitch colleague Mowky, who makes serious allegations against Anni. Mowky reports that Anni is conducting a targeted smear campaign behind her back. She is supposed to spread the word that Mowky has a mental illness and is not taking the necessary tablets for it. An alleged sex party, during which assaults are said to have taken place, is also addressed in the video.

Too much for Anni, who defends herself against the accusations in her YouTube video. She explains that she never ran a smear campaign and repeatedly offered Mowky a clarifying conversation. She backs this up with chat histories that Mowky is said to have edited. Anni also explicitly distances herself from the alleged sex parties. She explains that such activities would never be tolerated by her Muslim family.

Professional consequences for Anni

In her video, Anni also addresses the consequences of Mowky’s accusations. Her management terminated her contract and put all planned projects on hold. Due to the negative reporting, she was unable to find new management and had to take out a loan to continue paying her employees. Anni has also now lost her successful Twitch format “Beauty and the Nerd”. She will never be able to fully recover from the damage to her reputation.
