Sonja Zietlow is one of the most prominent presenters in Germany and has been in the spotlight since the 1990s. The RTL celebrity has undergone a major transformation over the course of her career.
Bonn – Sonja Zietlow (56) is an integral part of the German television landscape and has made a name for herself as a presenter. Most TV viewers associate her with the jungle camp, and her short blonde hair has become her trademark. But Sonja Zietlow did not always look like this.
From brown to pageboy: Sonja Zietlow rocked everything
Sonja Zietlow has been delighting the jungle camp audience with her snappy sayings and comments since 2004. Most recently, she hosted the special season of the RTL show, from which reality star Georgina Fleur (34) emerged as the winner. Before Zietlow became the face of the jungle camp, she presented numerous other formats. One of her first shows (1993 to 1995) was the former children’s series “Bim Bam Bino” on Kabel Eins – and back then the now 56-year-old looked completely different.

Instead of her short blonde hair, the presenter wore it a little longer and brown. In general, Sonja Zietlow experimented a lot with her hair and tried out a lot when it came to her hairstyle and hair color.

Among other things, the presenter wore her hair in a pageboy style, showed off her bangs, longer blonde hair or a rock-style pixie cut. Red hair was also found on her head for a while.

You can see that it took a while for Sonja Zietlow to develop her trademark look. But it is not just her hair that has changed, there are also changes in her face. But that doesn’t come from nowhere, as the Jungle Camp presenter told Bild revealed. “Back in 2003, I had a little hyaluronic acid injected into my nasolabial fold,” she explained. And: “Once or twice a year, I get Botox injected.”

The 56-year-old also uses some strange methods to improve her appearance. For example, she once had blood drawn, which was “processed into a cream in a complex process.” But Sonja Zietlow is not the only Jungle Camp star who has changed dramatically in recent years.
