The actor had a difficult time in his life.
Last year was marked for the star of the series “Birthday Bourgeois” Valery Nikolaev with numerous scandals. He was driving without a license, so he was arrested and taken to a detention center. The actor was supposed to spend about two weeks there, but others noted his inappropriate behavior of him. As a result, the fighter-Nikolaev was taken from the cell to a psychiatric hospital.
After several months in the clinic, Valery was discharged. Now the 57-year-old actor is gradually returning to normal life. In the studio of the Malakhov show, Nikolaev admitted that he was in a state of terrible stress and tension: the actor unsuccessfully sold his parents’ apartment, then “burned out” on creating his own film studio. Also, he is saddened by the death of a close friend. As a result, doctors diagnosed him with bipolar disorder.
During the period of treatment and constant conflicts, Valery aged very much and significantly gained weight. Now it is difficult for him to find new roles: some directors do not want to get involved in a brawler, others offer him characters that seem secondary to the actor. So Nikolaev is still spending time with his family.
