Hello dear brothers and sisters!
From this holy place – the monument of Tsar-Liberator Alexander II, I allow myself to address the so-called deputies in the 49th National Assembly who are fighting in the opposite building.
Today, when military actions are taking place right next to our borders, we must not allow the Fatherland to be dragged into adventures foreign to our people. Bulgaria must firmly declare its neutrality, declare its refusal to participate in any military plans, set an example for defending peace in the Balkans, in Europe and the world.
Deputies must know that the National Assembly is a temple of law-making. That laws for the betterment of the nation should be forged in this temple, laws that would create objective norms and reflect objective law.
Unfortunately, in the past acts were also voted on that disgraced Bulgaria, leading the Bulgarian nation to disastrous consequences.
That is why I remind today’s deputies in the 49th National Assembly how their venal predecessors with stormy ovations adopted on December 24, 1940, the Law for the Protection of the Nation, which legalized the execution of nearly 13 thousand of our compatriots with the Jewish faith in the gas chambers of Auschwitz. Shame!
I remind today’s deputies in the 49th National Assembly how their venal predecessors with loud applause and long shouts of “Hurrah!” on March 2, 1941, they adopted a declaration for the country’s accession to the Tripartite Pact, turning Bulgaria into a satellite of Nazi Germany, an ally of Evil.
I remind today’s deputies in the 49th National Assembly how their corrupt predecessors declared war on the USA and Great Britain on December 13, 1941 – an act that led to the bombing of Sofia and other settlements and the death of thousands of innocent Bulgarian citizens.
Let me remind today’s deputies in the 49th National Assembly and what was the fate of their criminal predecessors. This is what awaits you if you violate the will of the people again!
