A shadow going astray: “SCHiM”

In the unusual 3D platformer “gesture“ you accompany a character on their search to find their shadow, which is more than just a dark silhouette – it is their soul and their spirit. In this story about the unbreakable bond between a creature and its shadow, the lost shadow must find its way back to its owner before time runs out. The Challenge: You can only move in shadows, forcing you to find creative ways to jump from one shadow to the next.

The platformer takes you into a beautifully abstract world whose color palette changes with each level to reflect the environment and mood of the locations you explore. The world is dominated by the so-called eternal game, the Canovaccio, trapping the inhabitants and their lives in an unnatural, static state. As a maskless person, it is now your job to take action against the powerful authors of Canovaccio and free the world from stagnation.

Typically Souls-like, you fight your way through bizarre opponents with a dozen weapons and magic and use the power of the Ardore to change the world around you. React quickly and offensively and switch between up to three customizable play styles (your masks) to keep every situation under control.
