To achieve absolute silence, the walls of the Xiaomi Audio Lab are filled with wedge shaped panels. Thanks to this, it is possible not only to absorb the waves, but also to prevent them from rebounding.
A realistic dummy to evaluate audio quality
In the center of the Xiaomi Audio Lab a dummy is positioned, a bust that with a density analogous to human skina manages to emulate the natural conditions that would occur in real life.
At the same time, all simulated information within this room is collected and parameterized in order to be subsequently studied through professional software solutions.
