This is the winner of the fiercest Expedition Robinson ever

No fewer than eighteen candidates started the grueling test together. What they didn’t know is that another Expedition was going on in the deepest secrecy. Eight former Expeditionary members once again took part in the survival struggle on Second Chance Island.

And that wasn’t the only thing that was different from previous seasons. The recordings did not take place this year in the Philippines, but in Croatia. No bananas and cassava, but sage and spring onions. And the sea was also a lot less pleasant in terms of temperature.

Robbert started as a duo with Sieneke in Kamp Zuid, also known as Kamp Positive. He soon got on well with Dyantha and Britte and after a number of victories nothing seemed to stop the camp. But as Kamp Noord continued to thin out after all their losses, the camps were turned over. Robbert stayed in South and soon developed a good relationship with Yuki and René.

After surviving many weeks on the island, it was time for the amalgamation. A fusion with the 2.0’ers that is. Robbert ended up on the island of Vela Luka with Do, Annemiek, Sterrin, Sylvana, Dyantha, Sandra, Rob and JayJay. The youtuber never won an individual trial, but managed to survive all the island councils.

In the final phase of the game, he, Do, JayJay and Sandra were merged with the Expedition members from Trata Island: Yuki, Britte and Anouk. Anouk, Do and JayJay were the first to win a place in the semifinals and that meant that Britte, Yuki, Sandra and Robbert had to survive one last island council. It was Sandra who was sent home by ‘Mad Island’, as Robbert himself called it.

During the semi-final four tests were played: the winners of these tests won a place in the final. Here Robbert won his first individual test and thus secured a place in the final. In the final, Robbert managed to win again and was crowned the winner of Expeditie Robinson 2021.
