TRIBUNJOGJA.COM – World Health Organization or World Health Organization (WHO) has a target time in its efforts to vaccinate the world’s population.
This step was taken as an effort to resolve the Covid-19 pandemic that is still sweeping the world.
As is known, the vaccination strategy is one of the steps to fight the Covid-19 pandemic which has been going on for almost two years.
The WHO has set a goal to vaccinate at least 10 percent of the global population by the end of September 2021.
Then it will increase to 40 percent by the end of 2021.
Furthermore, by mid-2022, at least 70 percent of the global population will have received the Covid-19 vaccine.

Unfortunately, some countries around the world have not yet started vaccination campaigns, especially poor countries that have not yet had access to vaccines.
While rich countries such as the US and Israel, have vaccinated more than half of the population.
Senior Advisor to the Director General of WHO, Dr. Bruce Aylward, revealed that people in poor countries can’t even access Covid-19 tests.
As a result, residents do not have enough evidence that the fever they feel comes from Covid-19 or other diseases such as malaria, tuberculosis, pneumonia, and HIV.
