Pathanamthitta: After a break, Robin Bus rests at Pathanamthitta AR Camp. The bus, which is moving with continuous cases and proceedings, was kept at the AR camp when it was first seized. When he was taken into custody for the second time, he was allowed to park near the office of the district police chief, saying it was safer. After staying here for three weeks, he was released with a court order. At that time, the owner had said that the battery of the bus had malfunctioned due to the fact that it was not running and there was a significant loss due to this. Now when it was captured for the third time, it was again changed to A6.

Meanwhile, the Motor Vehicle Department has stepped up the action against Robin Bus. The MVD, which had taken action only against the bus, has now turned against the driver and the social media who are the helpers. Despite understanding the court orders, the bus operator violated the permit again. Last night, Rob was arrested from Ranni and sent to Pathanamthitta AR camp for performing inter-state service.

In the current situation, the Motor Vehicle Department is likely to take steps to cancel the permit of the bus. The action is under the leadership of MVD. The bus was seized in Ranni at night with heavy police presence. The action has been taken pointing out that there is continuous violation of the permit. There are also indications that action will be taken to cancel the driver’s license and the vehicle’s permit. Apart from this, action may also be taken against YouTubers who have called for violation of the law. The operators of Robin Bus said that the action was unfair and a violation of the court order. We will have to wait for the final decision of the court.

After the court order last night that Robin should not be seized, many other private buses have also started approaching the government to get permits for inter-state services. Robin Girish had said that KSRTC is charging excessive fare on this route and it will be operated at normal fare. The first objective will be to release Robin, who is now resting in the AR camp. There also needs to be a judgment as to whether the bus or the authorities are violating the court order.
