The Attorney General’s Office of the State of Jalisco has an arrest warrant against Mrs. María Isabel “N”, mother of soccer player Carlos Salcedo, due to a crime that she allegedly committed in 2023, with the support of a third party and in relation to an inheritance.

On January 31, a Tonalá control judge granted the judicial order, after the Public Ministry accredited a testimony against the player’s mother, and his daughter, Paola Salcedo, who was murdered on June 29 in the State of Mexico, during an alleged assault.

According to the ministerial authority, María Isabel “N” and her daughter would be involved in the murder of José Félix “N”, with whom they were fighting over an inheritance. The Public Prosecutor’s Office obtained an interview with a circumstantial witness, who reported death threats from the soccer player’s sister, one day before the victim was attacked with a firearm by two subjects on a motorcycle.

This is why the Jalisco Prosecutor’s Office issued the arrest warrant against María Isabel “N” and Martha Paola, for their alleged participation in the crime of qualified homicide, however, the authority has not been able to comply with the judicial order, which until now is only in force for the soccer player’s mother, after her sister was murdered on June 29.

The soccer player’s mother has not commented on the matter, recalling that she has remained active on social media after the death of Martha Paola, even using them to point out her son, Carlos Salcedo, and his wife, Andrea Navarro, as the alleged masterminds of the attack against her daughter.
