Worse, until some can not sleep if the bottle pacifier out of his mouth. Using a pacifier bottle constantly is certainly not good for children.

Pediatric Dentist and Chief Researcher of the Faculty of Dentistry UNPAD, DR. drg. Erika Riyanti, Sp. KGA (K) said that try to get your child out of the pacifier bottle before the age of 4 years.

The reason is that at the age of 4 years, continued the doctor, children are perfect in sucking, chewing, and swallowing patterns. This is because he has learned these things since he was a baby.

“Besides, children also have to start learning to use other muscles such as drinking milk with a glass and holding the glass by themselves,” said Eriska.

To persuade the child to switch from a teat bottle to a glass, introduce the child to the glass little by little. Start by showing your child how to drink with a glass.

Children are good at imitating so that he will be able to do it faster if he sees it often. Try encouraging your child to drink milk in a glass during the day as it will be more difficult to replace the bottle with a glass when drinking milk at night.
