When I first came to Sinemorets in 2002, it was a beautiful wilderness. Veleka’s mouth had overflowed. The flora and fauna had found their harmony, unfortunately Butamyata beach was already becoming the pigsty in which it is now, because of the ugly tourist complex already built there. But Veleka was preserved, you couldn’t get there easily by car. There was even a beach under the “profile rock”, it was easy to pass.
Over the years, cars and “wildlife enthusiasts” gradually learned the place, leaving the ruined resorts, realizing that there is no difference in spending a week in your apartment in “Lyulin” or in Sunny Beach or Tsarevo.

This is the result today. Veleka is totally ruined. In the winter, the river and the sea took revenge, erasing the beach. The thin strip left is now taken over by two beach bars, a surf school, kayaks, etc. And cars, a lot of cars. The constructions for the shade of the beachgoers surpass even the cult restaurant “Reeds” in scope. There is a constant cultural program in the bars.

The meadows are like the parking lot in front of the Metro. Caravans, campers, cars, many cars. The Bulgarian wants to enter the sea with his car. Hordes crammed with chairs, sunbeds and cooler bags take over the thin beach every day.
Meanwhile, the beach under the rock with the “profile” is eaten by the sea. The profile is only visible if you are swimming. There are toilets there now …
In the meadows the buildings sprout like mushrooms. Growing bigger …
The mayor of Tsarevo refuses to comply with the construction bans of the ministry …
The goal is to implement a plan that will build the few preserved relatively wild places from Tsarevo to Rezovo.
This would provide a livelihood for the locals …
The whole operation is under the auspices of the MRF, Mint, and prominent Gerber local Gauleiters.
Campers and cars are not fined. They are the appropriate alibi for starting the mass transformation of Sinemorets into SB2.

I beg Komsomol activists not to comment with this post. This is not an anti-camper post (I have nothing against campers and caravans placed in strictly regulated, environmentally friendly places, in an environmentally friendly way). This is a call to preserve the last remnants of nature. The struggle for this does not recognize ours and yours. And principled legal statements, of all political forces, of all citizens of Bulgaria.
Also, I beg the journalists not to invite me for interviews anymore in connection with the issues raised. There is no way I can get involved in the politicization of environmental issues.
These are just beach thoughts of a beach man.
