The decline in global gold prices was influenced by several factors, one of which was the lack of clarity on the United States (US) stimulus agreement. The stimulus that has been waiting for by many parties until now has never been disbursed.

On the other hand, it is influenced by the sentiment of the competition between Donald Trump and Joe Biden ahead of the US Election which will be held on November 3.
“Joe Biden won the poll but it could be that in practice Trump will win the presidential election. Now this is what the market is waiting for,” he continued.
However, whoever wins the presidential election the awaited stimulus will still be liquid. This certainly resulted in a strengthening of the US dollar index and the reverse for gold would actually weaken.
