JAKARTA – The concept video shows the phone touted as the iPhone Flip 5G. The concept design circulated in May and appears to be a hot topic of conversation among iPhone fans.
The emergence of the foldable iPhone concept design might make people believe that Apple will release a foldable iPhone in its newest line of cellphones this year. However, this does not appear to be true.
Reported Knowyourmobile, the reason why foldable iPhones won’t appear this year is because foldable phones have zero market traction at the moment.
Apple knows that cheaper phones are more popular than its flagship models. The 2020 cheaper iPhone 11 and iPhone SE make more money than the iPhone 11 Pro models.

So, with this logic, iPhone flip phones, while definitely new, would cost too much and be sold in volumes too small to make them worthwhile.
Apple may be testing a foldable iPhone, but it won’t appear on the market anytime soon.
