President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and First Lady Iriana Joko Widodo and the ministers are staying overnight at the location that will become the Central Government Area (KIPP) Archipelago IKN. The location where Jokowi and Iriana spent the night was a planned location for investors and prospective residents who wanted to see the IKN.
“Actually this is to accommodate the interest of prospective residents and potential investors to have experience in IKN Nusantara,” said Head of IKN Authority Bambang Susantono in a written statement from the Press, Media and Information Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat, Thursday (23/2/2023 )
Bambang explained that there are 17 units of cabin-shaped rooms at that location. The location development carries the concept of ecotourism to provide the experience of feeling the archipelago as a city in the middle of a forest.
“And also in the future it will become one of the magnetic centers of Indonesia’s economic growth,” said Bambang.
To develop this, Bambang said that his party would rearrange and adjust to the development of each infrastructure built.
“But of course we will create more spots like this, ecotourism will be one of the spirits of this city going forward,” said Bambang.
Furthermore, Bambang explained that by developing a tourist area, IKN will not only become a city of government, but will also become a city of business and education that is in harmony with nature.
“So there is harmony between nature and humans as well as culture, the terms people, nature and culture,” said Bambang.
