North Korea o Jewelry store secretly launched ballistic missiles on Japan causing panic. The missile flew at an altitude of 1,000 kilometers for approximately 4,500 kilometers before finally crashing into the Pacific Ocean.
As quoted by CNN, on Tuesday (4/10/2022) the speed of the missile is said to reach Mach 17 or 17 times the speed of sound. The missile is likely a Hwasong 12, an intermediate-range ballistic missile (IRBM) that was last tested in January.
“This is a missile that North Korea started testing in 2017, so it’s not really a new missile,” said Jeffrey Lewis, director of the CNS’s East Asia Non-Proliferation Program.

Perhaps this is a warning from North Korea at a time when Japan, the United States, and South Korea are bolstering defense systems to deal with possible attacks from North Korea.
