The new board of KEDE was elected after the voting process that took place on Monday evening. with the position of President being occupied by the mayor of Ampelokipi – Menemeni Lazaros Kyrizoglou.
The mayor of Vari – Voula – Vouliagmeni Gr. Konstandellos was elected to the position of first vice president and the mayor of Agriniou G. Papanastasiou to that of the second vice president.
The position of General Secretary was occupied by the municipal councilor of Pylos – Nestoros D. Kafantaris.
29 elected members of the 31 members of the Board of Directors of KEDE voted in the proceedings. The mayor of Patras, K. Peletidis, did not vote, stating that he disagrees with the procedure, as well as the mayor of Agia Ant. Gundaras, who was away on a trip abroad.
The results of the vote
28 electors voted for the position of President:
— L. Kyrizoglou received 20 votes
— 8 were the blank ballots
— Kostas Zachariadis did not vote
29 elected officials voted for the position of First Vice President:
— G. Konstandellos received 20 votes
— 9 were the blank ballots
29 elected officials voted for the position of 2nd Vice President:
— G. Papanastasiou received 20 votes
— 9 were the blank ballots
29 elected members voted for the position of General Secretary:
— D. Kafantaris received 20 votes
— 9 were the blank ballots
