Yesterday, the carmaker Audi revealed some interesting information about the technology of the new generation of the sharp RS3 model, today we can look at its appearance. Thanks to the leaked photos.

The official premiere is just ahead of us, Audi has so far only shown photos of the camouflaged car. However, pictures of the completely revealed car appeared on several motoring websites.
We can see the RS3 sedan body with a striking green paint and interesting-looking wheels. The photos also reveal specific bumpers, large exhaust tailpipes, openings in the front fenders or a discreet rear spoiler.
Yesterday, the German carmaker confirmed the presence of a 2.5-liter five-cylinder under the hood, which in the European specification will offer the highest output of 294 kW at 5600 to 7000 rpm and a maximum torque of 500 Nm between 2250 and 5600 rpm.

Interestingly, the version for the North American market will offer even higher power, namely 299 kW. It was allegedly a “specific request” from the US Audi office.
The engine will be connected exclusively to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission, all-wheel drive is a matter of course. Acceleration from rest to a hundred should take only 3.8 seconds, the maximum speed should reach 290 km / h.
A novelty is the so-called torque splitter, a system replacing the multi-plate clutch and rear differential, which was used by the previous generation RS3 with all-wheel drive Haldex. The Torque splitter consists of two electronically controlled clutches, each on one rear axle, thanks to which it can send power exactly to the bike where the car needs it. In addition, the car will offer its own equivalent of the so-called drift mode.
