Earlier this spring, TV 2 decided to to change the name of the new “Kompani Lauritzen” program to be sent in the autumn.
The new version exchanging celebrities with young adults who is struggling with the transition from adulthood, and needs a “kick behind” to get ahead.
– This time it is ordinary young people with common problems. They do not quite know how to get used to adulthood, and ask questions about what to do next, Colonel Dag Otto Lauritzen (65) explained before Christmas.
Initially, the program was to be called “Troop Z”, but due to the war taking place in Ukraine, the channel chose to change its name.
– Given that the letter Z has become a symbol of Russia’s warfare and invasion of Ukraine, we naturally do not want to use this letter in the title, said press manager of TV 2, Jan-Petter Dahl to TV2.no earlier this spring.
Now the program has been named “Kompani Lauritzen: Tropp 1”.
– The participants in “Kompani Lauritzen: Tropp 1” are young adults who for various reasons struggle with the transition to adulthood, and the obligations and responsibilities it entails. The number 1 should symbolize that they here get the opportunity for a new start and a new course in life, says the press manager to TV2.no.
“Kompani Lauritzen: Tropp 1” premieres on TV 2 and TV 2 Play in the autumn of 2022.
