The royal family was at the royal palace in Thimphu on Tuesday for a prayer service on the occasion of the important Bhutanese Buddhist guru, Ugyen Guru Rinpoche. The name was revealed on that occasion. The little prince will be referred to as ‘Gyalsey’ Ugyen Wangchuk, the announcement said. Gyalsey means prince. His older brother is ‘Gyalsey’ Jigme Wangchuk (4), Wangchuk being the name of the royal family.
