Some countries that refuse to provide lethal weapons to Ukraine are South Korea (South Korea).
South Korea’s (South) Ministry of National Defense has rejected Ukraine’s application for lethal anti-aircraft weapons because of its “principled attitude”. The refusal came before Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky’s virtual speech in South Korea’s parliament.

South Korean Defense Minister Suh Wook made a phone call with Ukrainian Defense Minister Aleksey Reznikov, on Friday.

“During the conversation, Seoul’s military chief reaffirmed his country’s principled stance not to send lethal weapons to a war-torn country,” the outlet This Week in Asia reported.

“The Ukrainian defense minister asked for weapons for air defense and Minister Suh politely reiterated the principle stance of the South Korean government that its assistance is limited to non-lethal materials,” said a Korean official identified as sharing information with the media.
