Police have arrested murderer woman with the initials IW (31) at a hotel in Menteng, Central Jakarta. The perpetrator with the initials AA is currently still being investigated intensively in Jakarta Central Jakarta Metro Police.
AA was arrested on Jl Cambodia, East Jakarta, in the early hours of this morning. AA was arrested by the Satreskrim team from the Central Jakarta Metro Police and the Menteng Police, led by AKP Eko Bamula.
From the photos obtained detik.com, AA is wearing a green T-shirt. His face was downcast with a hand cuffed.
Head of Criminal Investigation Unit for Central Jakarta Metro Police AKBP Teuku Arsya Gaddafi said that his party was still investigating AA’s statement.
“For motives and others, the explanation is still being investigated,” said Arsya when contacted detik.com, Saturday (29/5/2021).
Known, victim check-in at the hotel since Tuesday (25/5) with a friend. On Wednesday (26/5) afternoon, the victim’s friend came out of the room and contacted him via WhatsApp but did not receive an answer.
The witness then checked into the victim’s room with security. When found, the victim was dead with naked and head covered with pillows.
Police Crime Scene Results
Previously, the police had also conducted a crime scene (TKP) where the victim was found. The police also got some new findings such as fingerprints and semen.
“Our new findings are in the form of fingerprints, then there are also some items used by the perpetrators in accordance with the CCTV digital records that we obtained,” said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Menteng Police, AKP Paksi Eka Saputra, Friday (28/5/2021).
However, Paksi did not reveal more details about the fingerprint findings anywhere. The results of this crime scene will be matched with other evidence, such as CCTV footage.
The victim is thought to have died by strangled and smothered. The perpetrator took the victim’s cellphone and money after committing the murder.
