Once the CSD ruled in favor of the League F in its lack of agreement with the RFEF on the calendar of the imminent 2024-2025 league, the entire competition calendar has already been designed, with only the draw remaining. A league that will start, as we have been saying in MD, on the weekend of September 7 and 8.
The first four league matches are scheduled to take place in September (8, 15, 22 and 29 September) as well as the first round of the Copa de la Reina on Wednesday 11th. October will bring three league matches (6, 13 and 20 October). The group stage of the Women’s Champions League will also get underway with the first two matches (8 and 16 October) and the second round of the Copa de la Reina scheduled for Wednesday 2nd October. This month will see the first FIFA international break from Monday 21st to Wednesday 29th October.
November will bring four more league matches (3, 10, 17 and 24) along with the third and fourth group matches of the Women’s Champions League (12 and 20) and the third round of the Copa de la Reina (Wednesday 6). This month also concludes with another international break from Monday 25 to December 3.
The last day of the year, 15-D
December will bring us two more matchdays, the twelfth and thirteenth of the league. The last matchday of 2024 will be held on December 15 before the first leg of the quarter-finals of the Queen’s Cup is held on the weekend of the 21st and 22nd. On Monday, December 23, the Christmas holidays will begin until December 31. The competition in 2025 will return on the weekend of January 4-5.
The postponed matches for the sixteenth round, which coincides with the Spanish Super Cup on the weekend of 25 and 26 January, are scheduled to be played on these dates. That month there will be two more rounds (11 and 19 January) in addition to the Spanish Women’s Super Cup, which will be played from Wednesday 21 to Sunday 26 January. The tournament will be contested by FC Barcelona, Real Madrid, Real Sociedad and Atlético de Madrid.
Three more international breaks before the Euro Cup
The month of February will bring three more league matches (2, 9 and 16) in addition to the return leg of the quarter-finals of the Copa de la Reina and a new international break from 17 to 26 February. In March, five Liga F matches are planned (2, 9, 16, 23 and 30), the first and second leg of the semi-finals of the Copa de la Reina on the 5th and 12th along with the return of the Champions League group stage. The month ends with a new window for Montse Tomé’s Spanish team from 31 March to 8 April. The fourth month of 2025 will bring three league matches (13, 20 and 27) and the Champions League semi-finals on the 22nd and 27th of this month.

May will see the last three matchdays of the year (4, 11 and 18) where the last two will be with a unified schedule, along with the Champions League final on Saturday 24. On Monday 26, the last window of international matches prior to the Eurocup will begin and will run until Wednesday 3 June.
