Jakarta, Selular.ID – As previously known, rumors about the presence of Motorola’s latest smartphone, the Motorola Edge 20 Pro, which is also allegedly going to change its name to Motorola S Edge Pro, mentions that this new phone will soon be launched in India.
After several months of speculation about this smartphone being discussed, Flipkart’s landing page has now also leaked detailed specifications about the Motorola Edge 20 Pro. The micro site on Flipkart mentions that the phone will feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that offers a refresh rate of up to 144Hz.
In addition, the display offers 10-bit color and a touch sampling rate of 576Hz. In the optics department, the phone has three rear-mounted cameras. It also includes a 108MP main camera, a 16MP ultrawide sensor, and an 8MP OIS-capable telephoto lens.
The 16MP ultrawide lens on the back is said to be able to capture macro shots. Then on the front of the phone, there is a 32MP selfie camera. Additionally, the phone’s camera module has an LED flash and an audio zoom microphone.
Then, the camera is also capable of providing an impressive 50x zoom, as well as support for 8K video recording. The phone packs Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon 870 SoC under the hood, coupled with 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM.
Edge 20 Pro is rumored to be offering 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage system, which is quite a relief to store a lot of files. In addition, this phone will also be powered by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 30W Turbo Charge.
The Edge 20 Pro is also rumored to be IP52 rated and supports Wi-Fi 6 and MIMO, and adopts Waves audio tuning technology to support 11 5G bands.
The new smartphone is also said to be running the Android 11 OS which is almost available out of the box. However, it is set to receive Android 12 and Android 13 operating system updates in the future.
It doesn’t stop there, Motorola’s flagship class phone will also come with security updates for two years. The Motorola Edge 20 Pro price in India for the 8GB RAM + 256GB ROM model could be around INR 35,000.
Additionally, it will likely be sold in Midnight Sky and Iridescent Cloud color options. The phone will launch in India on October 1, 2021, at 12 noon local time.
