Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture (Menko PMK) Muhadjir Effendy revealed that the government has canceled public holidays due to the outbreak of Covid-19 cases.
“There are three points, decided to change the national holiday,” said Muhadjir in his press conference, Friday (6/18/2021).
The following is the government’s decision:
Tuesday, August 10, 2021 (Islamic New Year 1443) holiday has been shifted to August 11, 2021.
Tuesday 19 October 2021 (Mawlid Nabi Muhammad) holiday has been shifted to Wednesday 20 October 2021
Christmas and New Year’s holidays on December 24, 2021 will be cancelled.
